NUPENG BIOMETRICS PROJECTS
How it Works - BIOMETRICS E-ID CARD PROGRAMME
Biometric technologies generally refer to the use of technology to identify a person based on some aspect of their biology. The selection of a particular biometric for use in a specific application involves a weighting of several factors. To achieve this we carefully select the use of facial recognition and fingerprints for data collection at ESN Biometrics. NUPENG has contracted ENERGY SMART NG to use id3’s proprietary algorithm or the NIST NFIQ to ensure that the Members of various Unions data are synchronized and are stored in the database.
“I cannot give you the formula for success, but I can give you the formula for failure.
It is: Try to please everybody.”

Process & Results
To achieve this we carefully select the use of facial recognition and fingerprints for data collection at ESN Biometrics.
- Fingerprint recognition it is one of the first and original biometric technologies that have been grouped loosely under digital forensics, our enrolment system integrate with all finger print scanners especially Secugen scanners.
- Since facial recognition is the primary biometric means used for identity verification, capturing high-quality portraits at the enrolment stage is absolutely essential to ensure the best matching rates. Using our biometric enrolment software, taking high quality portraits has never been easier with Microsoft Webcams.
Our comprehensive interface can capture one to ten fingerprints using a wide range of single Secugen fingerprint scanners. The quality of the prints taken is verified using either id3’s proprietary algorithm or the NIST NFIQ to ensure that the best templates are stored in the database. Compatible with most of the fingerprint scanners currently available on the market.
